The WWOZ 90.7 FM is a volunteer powered, listener supported, community radio station - broadcasting New Orleans music and culture to the universe. With it's open door policy, musicians stop by WWOZ's French Market Studios daily to discuss new albums and to plug gigs. Our volunteer show hosts have the freedom to create their own playlists, free of commercial interests, bringing handpicked music to listeners 24/7. WWOZ covers many events live in and around the city and across the globe including French Quarter Fest and The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival annually. For over 35 years, WWOZ has served as the soundtrack of New Orleans, broadcasting on-air and online at WWOZ.org.
